For example on rats: It was possible to prove that taurine makes their heart muscle cells stronger, makes the heart beat stronger. In addition, the heart muscle cells tolerate oxidative stress much better. Even the mitochondria of the heart cells are protected from free radicals. Taurine also increases VO2 max, i.e. endurance and decreases blood pressure.

Is there a reason you take threonine instead of Glycine? Threonine is changed in the body to a chemical called glycine.
